Roxburgh to Lake Onslow
This trail commences at The Roxburgh Dam and is on a really good gravel road, leading though rolling tussock farmland, with fantastic long views. This is a true representation of the open barren land so typical of the Central Otago Region.
This road is open throughout the warmer months but often closed through winter, or at times of severe rain or snow. If you let us know the dates you are looking at riding the trail, we will check on the status for you.
This trail is 62km with no toilet facilities, little shade and patchy cell phone coverage.
The Fraser Dam Ride
This trail runs between Clyde and Alexandra and has a very steep hill climb at the start.
The Old Coach Road
This is in the hilly area behind the Alexandra Clock. This trail also has a very steep hill climb at the start.
Bannockburn to Clyde
This 26km ride and has a total ascent of 520 metres and you ride in behind the Cromwell Gorge through some amazing Central Otago country.
