New for 2014 / 2015 – 5 Day Fully Supported Cycling and Country Golf Tour
With our passion for all things outdoors we have designed an awesome tour to provide you with a taste of the activities available in Central Otago. Cycling not only the Otgao Central Rail Trail, but part of the newly formed Queenstown Trails, combined with playing 9 holes at 3 of Central Otago’s country courses, a visit to Highland Motorsport Park and Curling at Naseby, this tour will keep you entertained from start to finish.
Itinerary Outline
Day 1– Queenstown pickup from airport or accommodation, drive to Arrowtown and meet your bikes. Ride part of the Queenstown Trails finishing at the Bungy Bridge, a winery lunch followed by a tour of the Highland Motorsport Park. Late afternoon 9 holes at the Dunstan Golf course – the challenge begins, dinner and accommodation
Day 2 -Begin your Otago Central Rail Trail Adventure, ride to your luxury accommodation in Ophir via a lunch stop at Chatto Creek (NZ’s #1 Rural Hotel). Then late afternoon golf beckons at the Omakau Golf Course. Dinner at your accommodation
Day 3 – Ride a special part of the trail through the Poolburn Gorge; tunnels and viaducts , lunch at Oturehua and a wander around Hayes Engineering – great stop before cycling to Wedderburn. A short drive to Naseby where you will be staying for two nights. Curling this evening.
Day 4 – Shorter cycle today to allow the more adventurous riders some time on the Naseby forest tracks. Golf at Ranfurly before Dinner and the presentation of our unique trophy
Day 5 – Ride the final section of the Otago Central Rail Trail enjoying a final lunch at Middlemarch before returning to Queenstown or catching the Taieri Gorge Train to Dunedin.

Hire of the latest high quality Avanti Montari 29.3 or 27.5 Forte bikes. These bikes have the larger wheel diameter to maximize a super smooth easy rolling ride on the NZ Cycle trails Also including helmet, tool kit, drop down panniers, dual density gel seats and ergo grips.
